Internship at Alameda Import Automotive

Since I like working on cars and being around them i decided to do my Internship at a automotive shop. I started looking around for local shops that would seem like they woulf take in interns. Then I realized that there was a shop on the old naval base that seemed mellow. I meet the owner Matt Yee, he is a chill guy and I explained to him that I needed to do a internship to graduate. He told me to bring my report card to see how my grades were and he would bo based on that. He looked over my grades and he agreed to give me the chance at his shop as an Intern. Honestly my first day at the shop I was kind of shy because I didn't know anyone there. Thankfully all the workers were friendly and very helpful

In everyway. I learned so much in those five months that I was there, It gave me a different mindset about how the Automotive Industry Is. I was only supposed to do about 50 hours of internship but I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the people there so I asked If I could stay abit longer. Matt agreed and told me I could come back at any time. An Awesome experince and a really mind opener to what It feels like to work at an actual job.
