Prespective essay
For english we had to write a prespective essay about us. For me it was some what hard to pick something to write about. Either to pick something personal or a problem that the majority of people would understand. So I decided to write about enjoying life. This is a very complex topic but I just wrote about what I thought enjoying life was and my prespective on that concept. Thats one of the assignments that I got a B on and there werent many of those In english class.
Scince project
In ninth grade, I got first place for my science project. My science project was about what type of motor oil can keep its viscosity under normal engine operating temperature. It was pretty challenging trying to measure the viscosity of the oil. I was able to find a way that would measure close enough.
Bridge
When I was in tenth grade we had to do this bridge project for Algebra 2, It was sponsored by engineers alliance for arts. We were in teams of 4 people with limited supplies. We only has string,plastic foam and glue. The goal was to make a bridge that would hold a brick along a stretch of about 2 ft long. Our bridge was picked to represent our school in the finals in San Francisco. When we went there we also had to give a verbal speech of our bridge in front of a few hundred people. There were amazing looking bridges there and we were flattered that we made it that far. Unfortunately, we weren't able to win first place but we were picked for “Best in class”. Honestly, I was happy that our bridge got an award so it was a good day.
